Some people find watch boxes to be bulky and even a waste of time. I see thing differently though. Yes, of course, I have a jewelry box that I could keep my watches in but then they can easily get scratched or even broken with all of those other pieces of jewelry on top of them. A nice watch can last so much longer and be in such better condition if you just keep it in its original box. I would never throw my watch in with my diamond tennis bracelet because I would be so afraid that the diamonds would cut up or scratch the glass face of my favorite watch. Why lose a good watch if you don’t have to right? Besides, having a place for all of your watches in their original boxes all lined up in a row can give a very classy look to the top of your dresser. You can keep them closed most of the time to avoid getting them dusty or dirty but when people come over you can open each box and put all of your beautiful watches on display for everyone to see. As you can clearly see, there are plenty of reasons to keep your watch boxes instead of throwing them away. Also, these boxes are often quite pretty on their own so they can be reused for a myriad of things even long after the watch has been lost, broken, or just thrown away. I keep all of this in mind when I bring home a new watch.
